Joint seminar of SrbEV and the Serbian association for cancer research (SDIR)
As part of cooperation with the Serbian association for cancer research (SDIR), a joint seminar of SrbEV and SDIR will be held on December 16, entitled “Extracellular Vesicles in Cancer”. The goal of this meeting is to present the work of researchers from our two societies, to facilitate establishing new cooperations, and to consider problems in the understanding, diagnosis and therapy of cancer and the possibilities offered by the field of extracellular vesicles. The program of the seminar will be published soon.

Members of SrbEV at the European Congress “MOVE2025”
The European congress dedicated to extracellular vesicles “MOVE2025”, organized by the “MOVE” initiative that gathers European national societies for extracellular vesicles, was attended by 5 members of the Serbian Society for Extracellular Vesicles, SrbEV. Colleague Sara Stojanović, from the Faculty of Biology at the University of Belgrade, as a MOVE scholarship holder and recipient of a SrbEV travel scholarship, orally presented her research under the title “EVs-Mediated Communication During Breast Cancer Progression”. Colleague Marina Bekić from the INEP Institute of the University of Belgrade, also as the winner of the SrbEV travel scholarship, presented the results of her collaboration with colleagues from Austria in the form of a poster entitled “Immunomodulatory Potential of Extracellular Vesicles Released in Response to Schistosoma mansoni Cathepsin Protease B1”. Colleagues Jovana Terzić and Dr. Lidija Filipović, from the Innovation Center of the Faculty of Chemistry, University of Belgrade, presented their research “Application Of VHH-Immobilized Cryogel-Based Immunoaffinity Chromatography for Isolation of Extracellular Vesicles” and “Single-Step Immunoaffinity Chromatography Method for Oil-Red-O Labeling and Extracellular Vesicle Isolation” in the form of a poster. The president of SrbEV, Dr. Maja Kosanović, attended the congress as the president of the co-organizing society and a member of the International Organizing Committee. She also chaired the first session and participated in a round table on the activities of the European National Societies for Extracellular Vesicles.
